Gifting Collaterals
Design a gifting collateral for C4SD that complements and integrates seamlessly with their existing deck of cards, which showcases their projects and design approaches.
Client :
Center for social design
Year :
2025
Project Duration :
Suhani Agarwal, Divija Agarwal

Problem :
The existing card deck effectively communicates the organization’s work, but there is no accompanying collateral that enhances the gifting experience or extends the brand narrative. The challenge is to create an add-on that fits into the existing card cover while strengthening the storytelling and brand recall.

Concept :
The gifting collateral was designed to extend the storytelling of C4SD by creating custom acrylic paper clips that echo the brand’s visual identity. Shaped to reflect the C4SD logo with a human figure at the center, the clips emphasize the organization’s core value — designing with people. Integrated into the existing card cover, the clips offer both functionality and symbolism, while the leftover cavity doubles as a viewfinder, creating a playful and intentional way to frame and engage with the project cards.

Process:
We explored multiple materials including cardboard, thick paper, and acrylic sheets to achieve the right balance of durability, precision, and ease of integration. Acrylic proved to be the most effective — sturdy enough to hold a stack of papers and cleanly detachable for a satisfying unboxing experience. The design was refined to ensure the sheet aligned perfectly with the size of the card deck, making the collateral both practical and aesthetically consistent with the brand.
